Technical Account Manager – Network Security

Job Description
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers on network security solutions
  • Manage post-sales technical relationships and ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Provide technical consultation on firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, NAC, and network security architecture
  • Support customers during implementation, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Handle incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and recommendations
  • Work closely with Sales, SOC, and Engineering teams to align technical solutions with customer needs
  • Translate customer business requirements into technical security solutions
  • Conduct technical reviews, health checks, and performance assessments
  • Deliver technical reports, documentation, and recommendations to customers
  • Escalate complex technical issues to vendors or internal escalation teams when required
  • Stay updated on network security trends, threats, and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in network security, security engineering, or technical account management
  • Strong knowledge of network security technologies:
    • Firewall (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, or equivalent)
    • VPN (IPSec, SSL VPN)
    • IDS/IPS, WAF, NAC
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, VLAN, WAN)
  • Experience in troubleshooting network and security issues
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong customer-facing, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Experience working with enterprise customers is a plus
  • Relevant certifications are a plus:
    • CCNA / CCNP Security
    • Fortinet NSE / Palo Alto PCNSE
    • CompTIA Security+
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts
