Job Description
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers on network security solutions
- Provide technical expertise on firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, WAF, and network security architecture
- Support customers during deployment, configuration, tuning, and optimization of network security systems
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network and security incidents
- Conduct security health checks, configuration reviews, and best practice assessments
- Work closely with SOC, NOC, Engineering, and Presales teams to resolve customer issues
- Translate customer requirements into secure network design and recommendations
- Assist in incident response and post-incident analysis when required
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, reports, and recommendations
- Manage technical escalations to vendors and principals
- Stay up to date with network security threats, technologies, and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Network Security or Security Engineering
- Strong knowledge of:
- Firewall platforms (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, or equivalent)
- VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
- IDS/IPS, WAF, Network Segmentation
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals:
- TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, VLAN, DNS, WAN
- Proven experience in troubleshooting network and security issues
- Experience handling customer-facing technical roles is a plus
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Certifications are a plus:
- CCNA / CCNP
- Fortinet NSE / Palo Alto PCNSE
- CompTIA Security+
- Able to manage multiple customer environments and priorities
